Check your fuel pump, or the fuel rail pressure;).

If the car was running for that short time and the battery is draining that quickly, you’re on a very limited pitch count:(.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

So it runs when you directly add fuel (starter fluid).
It dies when you removed that fuel source.

Check to see is the fuel pump is running. If it is, check psi.

So after a lengthy learning session- about diagnostics and about many aspects of the Toyota Prius,
I've determined that my problem was my fuel pump that went out- which makes sense- as it sat idle for over a month
which was not the plan, but it happened, and it has 191K miles on it so it was due to go soon, sitting like that didn't help.
I'm turning it over to Todd at Tpa Hybrid to handle that job, then it should run like a champ with all the other work I did on it.
Thank you guys for all the insights and ideas along the way. I have another Prius needing some work also- HV is weak
I may invest in the charger/ de-charger system to recondition that one too- Hybrid Automotive the best choice?

If you have more than one Prius, the economics of Prolong equipment ownership improve:).

Good luck with your Prius (y).

    Was it the fuel pump?

If you are having troubles with your Prius c, I would suggest that you search in those forums and post your questions there too. You cannot guarantee that what works for one model of Prius will work in another model,
