Prius the worst offender for inaccurate milage claims... (apparently)

So according to the article, Toyota is cheating customers by selling them the cleanest gasoline-burning car on the road, and the most fuel-efficient car in its size class.

I wonder if this is just typical tabloid comic-book journalism (like the article about Noah's ark being found on Mars) or if they have something against Toyota and/or hybrids.

There are some people (many on this board I suspect) that view the EPA averages as a challange. I really would prefer they do not pander to the "accelerate to a red light, tailgate and slam on the breaks, jackrabbit start, I'll drive as fast as I can get away with" drivers, even if they are a majority!

BTW, a co-worker just got a $500 ticket for going 90+MPH......motivation.....
