wow john, this is GREAT guide. I haven't read through it all yet (I'll sit down and read it once I print it out), but I skimmed it and found the "hidden compartment." I never knew that was there! Thanks! I'm sure I'll find out a lot more from your guide.

    Hey John,

I didn't get a chance to look over the whole guide yet, but I did a few quick searches inside it and found nothing on this subject. Can you add a bit about needing a ground loop isolator if you hear buzzing when powering an MP3 player (like an iPod) thru the cigarette lighter AND using the aux input jack that's new to the 06s?

It frequently comes up in threads like this http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=1...10&#entry251010 and http://www.priusonline.com/viewtopic.php?t=8782. I sure wished it was a FAQ (and that the answer was easy to find) when I ran into this: http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=15157

I think a page or section should be added called the advanced drivers guide that gives more tips on improving fuel mileage. Maybe show in detail on how and when to pulse and glide. Tips on how to anticipate stops. How to climb and descent hills efficiently. Maybe some other advanced stuff like some common mods that can be done. Maybe this information could be added in the next version.

Oh and by the way this is a great guide and I keep 2 of them in the car in case I meet someone that could use it.

    John,
The manual is a great "pri"requisite for those of us who haven't received delivery yet (5-7 days and counting). I say this because I know I'll be far too excited to actually read the owners manual when that time comes.

I especially enjoy the driving tips to maximize the mileage; trying to decipher the display while I was taking the test drive was a little too much, so I'll put these suggestions to the test next week!
