Prius v: 300,000 miles club

I think he delivers medical supplies all over Florida.

 

Oh..... sounds like the guy who had the 1.1 million mile Civic, who was also a delivery guy. Perhaps the Prius V will be the first million-mile prius.

 

If you got 300,000 miles out of any car, no matter what brand or model, you win. If it dies, get a new car and don't worry about the value of it. Are you hauling cargo cross-country in this Prius? How could you get 300,000 miles in 2 or 3 years?

 

I'm curious about this, too. I don't think it's been answered yet.

 

Actually I said what he does. I've heard he often logs 600 miles in a day.

 

Ouch! Hope this car last you 6years. But I am pretty sure you make a lot of money with your job, so your decision should be pretty sound. Keep us posted.

He takes the long way to work.

 

And I thought my 200 miles/day was a lot. (Just this year.)

 

I would like to know if only synthetic oil was used, and how much the maintenance has cost.

 

If memory serves, all 2012 and up use synthetic every 10k.

He's had no problems except a wheel bearing replacement.

Problem go to start I here shaking in front. Goes away ok could be the infamous engine shake.

arrive at pick up got to leave as engine kicks on starts rattle noise let off Gass goes away

get gas as I drive off as engine comes on engine again starts shaking or it can sounds like it coming from electric side.

only happens from ev to engine only if I sit for more than a minute. Doesn't happen after a start driving. As I am writing I've been sitting for about 10 min hold on let me try again. OK I'm leaving starts to shudder let off go again starts shuddering.
doesn't happen even when I stop a light orlet off gas only after I sit for more than a minute very strange anyway off to repair shop.

 

Time for a manifold/EGR clean up?
It may have a vapour lock, or a check valve failure in the fuel rack...
Let'em see what comes by...

 

Made it through the night 7:00 am last stop shudder happens threw a code on my wayto auto zone.

 

I'd like to know if the valves are controlled electronically to reduce engine-shake on startup. Mine shakes rarely; most of the time I can't even tell when it starts or stops.

 

Getting p0301. an 302 dealer says I don't have 0w-20 in engine which causes a misfire. Need some help
