    Hello y'all,
We have a 2013 Prius V with 160,000 miles. It has run great since we purchased it a year ago. Recently it has run into an issue where when we press the start button, all the dashboard lights come on (including the stereo and headlights) but the 0 MPH does not show and the car can not be put into reverse or drive. We have to turn the car off and on many times before it starts up normally (sometimes taking many minutes). My best guess is the combination meter, but I wanted to get input from this wise crowd before replacing it.
    Many Thanks

What's the voltage on the 12 volt battery?

Not sure. Guess I need a voltage meter to get that info?

I was doing more reading and it looks like it could be related to the inverter recall and computer update recall? Just called Toyota dealership to get more info.

    Yup;).

Start there and see where it takes you:).

If original and it's been sitting more than usual (COVID-19 caused), it is probably time for a new battery(y).

ok thanks so much. And when you say battery, you mean the smaller boot battery, not the hybrid battery?

Thanks! Have an appointment with Toyota Monday to get recalls fixed. Hoping that will do it.
