    I currently have the rear bumper clear appliqye on the rear bumper. Can this new black bumper protector be sucessfully applied over this applique?

    Good question. I'm honestly not sure. Worst case scenario is it starts to come loose and you have to find some new 3M adhesive strips to re-apply it.

    I got my Prius V last night! And I can see how valuable this is to protect the bumper from my dogs jumping up on the cargo area. Is it very easy to install? No hardwear required, I hope?

    I installed mine right over the existing clear appliqué...no problem, just clean the bumper thoroughly before installing, you knew that.

    I applied two of these from my local Walmart when I first got my 08 Prius. Whith a little trimming they fit nicely. I'll be doing the same with the new "V" we just picked up yesterday. I have to admit at first I thought it wouldn't look professional or even might look a bit funky, but they have stayed on very well and have protected the bumper from the nails on my two goldens for years now. This is the best bumper protection I could imagine...especially for the price!

    Well, a sort of....
    With Soapy water and alcohol?? Can I use rubbing alcohol or will I need to buy something special?? Mine arrived yesterday!
