Bought the transmission control ECU but it's stuck in the flashing gauges and no HV battery mode again

    Very unpleasant thing.
    Now we have similar situation.
Checked all the fuses, replaced all ECUs - hybrid, transmission, engine, battery sensor and there is no way to get ready sign on the dash board.
Thinking to replace the inverter - the only thing we didn't till now.

    SOLVED!
With a help from my friend the car is running again.
We changed the transmission ECU and studied the other ECUs.
    Changed the 12V battery, too.

I have the same problem here. Not able to get into ready mode.

Did you do any setting when replace the transmission ecu?

Can I know the detail about the solution?

    Thanks

It took me a day to realize that I had forgotten the step-3, locking the plug in place. I am sure my Prius should start tomorrow. It was not going into 'Ready' state because of this for sure. Thanks for this graphic. I might still have to deal with if the 'red triangle' and the car icon with exclamation mark on the MFD appears again, this happens when driving on freeway. Do you think if I replace the 'Inverter Cooling Pump' this should be fixed?

The recommended AGM battery doesn't 'need' maintaining, so I suspect you purchased the wrong type of battery. AAA came out and tested my battery and finding it was 10 YEARS OLD replaced it for $219. I'm back in business.
