I got a Prius 3 with the 15" alloy wheels. Are other owners with stock wheels getting better miles per gallon?

F8L may come by with a real answer but this is what I know.

Low Rolling Resistance tires have the most effect. Do not skimp on LRR tires.

Narrow wheels and tires get better gas mileage than wider wheels and tires (so if your alloys are a wider wheel than stock, they get worse MPG) Some of this is aerodynamic, some is friction on the road surface.

Light wheels and tires (like your Alloys) get better gas mileage than heavier wheels and tires.

F8L, PriusCamper and RocMills like this.
