Probably diving into the engine coolant thermos soon

    Or just rev up the engine as fast as it will go for 10 minutes while the car is sitting on your driveway with the gear selector in P. Under those conditions the engine will rev up to only 3,500 RPM or so.

    LOL! I never knew it was such a challenge to get the thermostat on a Prius to open. It's been chilly here for FL with temps only getting up to the 50s, but not all that cold! Anyway, I got it over 180F several times Sunday and Monday and the radiator level has remained at the full point for about three days now. No bubbles in the bleeder. No codes. I'm 99.9% sure it's good based on that and the remaining amount of coolant in the jug. I turned the car back over to my wife yesterday. I'll keep checking it daily for another week or so before I put the plastic cover back on.
