    The battery lease thing is far from being a done-deal. I've expressed, on the auto-insight forum when the question was asked, quite vehemently that I'm opposed to such a plan and the resounding concensus of the others who replied was the same.

    The part I'm confused about is that the reporter missed the point. The thing that makes the Volt different from other hybrids is the PLUG. The pure serial mode is negligible.
