Yesterday when driving at high elevation and extremely cold temperature I heard and felt a pulsing from rear of my car when coasting or idling. Has anyone else experienced this?

This would be odd while idling, since nothing happens in the rear of the car when it's not moving

welcome! when you say idling, do you mean stopped with engine running, or off?

is this an area you have travelled before in the same temp, and no pulsing sound?

2 things back there that make noise: exhaust pipe and battery cooling fan.

I often hear a 20hz(+ -)type noise when the traction battery is working, it could be considered a pulsing sound, it's felt as much as heard.
