Purchasing a PiP Out of State

    I used to be in the business...
    Most states have reciprocity agreements. Under these agreements you will pay the tax in the state you purchase the vehicle and they will transfer any necessary payments. If the rates vary and the rate in the state where you purchase the vehicle is higher, you will pay the higher rate. If the rate in the state where you purchase is lower, you will pay the lower rate in that state and you will pay the difference upon applying for your native title.
