Question about cooling battery with a/c

    Relative to the residual value of a 2008 automobile? I'd say so.

    The residual value is meaningless in this instance. What's important is the REPLACEMENT cost. The intention is to keep the car as reliable transportation for as long as possible.

    It's very much the same as being obsessed with the current resale value of a house when you have no interest doing anything with it but make it your home for the next 25 or 30 years.. In such an instance rarely is resale value a major consideration in a home improvement. Improvements are primarily done for personal benefit and comfort.

    Fair enough. I've done that with many cars in the past; doing that with our other non-hybrid car now.

    Please, you can use Prius Sssistant app. Open and the fan button. This will turn the blower to the max speed. As the battery cools down very slowly, IMO prevent the air from being hot in the car, using the foot setting in the aircon screen.
