I looked at the fuse box underneath the steering wheel and there seem to be quite a few empty slots. Is it possible for me to take a Viofo HK3-C hard wire kit and run it to a fuse I buy from toyota? If so, what amp fuses should I be purchasing, and how do I attach the cable to the fuse? I am assuming I need 1 15amp and another that is at least 10amp.

I am specifically asking how to avoid a fuse tap. I can't find a video on it.

pull the fascia off around the radio, and tap into the 12v feed "to the radio" of you want it switched.
Or tap into the "memory wire" if you want 12v constant.

You can do this without disconnecting the battery, jus unplug the radio and splice into the radio side of the plug. [then plug back in]
