    Hey everyone,

I just picked up a 2014 Prius Plug in Advance.
I was wondering if the LDA and some other the other features were removed from this year only. Seen some of the other videos and can't quite get the answers as I am seeing with them equipped.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bee

I have the 12. Radar but no LDA. I think they started with the Prime.

No LKA with the PiP. The LKA you see is on the regular 2010-2015 Prius. (Gen 4 Prius and Prius Prime switched to LDA w/ Steering Assist).

I'm wondering why the LKA was included in the regular Gen3, but not the PIP, esp. the Advanced.

    Thanks everyone for your response.
Crazy how the 2013 and below advance model had better features included than the 2014 version .
Looks like they stripped the 2014 advance model in order to lower the price to make it more appealing to the public. :/
I guess I didn't do enough research and assumed it was going to be better.
Still happy with the car though. :)

Yes Bee Tee, I'm sure you have a great car. It's usually not a good idea to continue researching after the purchase was made. :)

    Well yes and no.

You can still load a 2014 version up to the same level as the 2012/2013 models. Like you said, it just offered a mid-way price point for those who want SofTex seats, power driver's seat and a nicer screen without having to pay for the extra tech (like LED headlights and DRCC).
