Question for Prime owners: How sensitive/annoying are the eye cameras, really?

I was delighted to learn in this forum that the driver monitor camera can be turned off. I was able to do so by drilling down in the setup menus. I don't need a baby sitter to tell me to keep my eyes on the road, or that my hand on the steering wheel is blocking the camera. It was also detecting closed eyes when they weren't closed, and not detecting them when they were closed. Driving is now much more relaxed and enjoyable when it's off, which is probably safer.
