I got a code P0A80 on my car, saying I need to replace hybrid battery. I downloaded techstream on my laptop and did some test driving in the passenger seat with my dad in the driver seat. We drove down a long road with no stop signs and I instructed him to keep the acceleration in the first half of the bar, while having it on eco mode, and some other things that would use the battery such as the high beams on, dashcam hooked up, latop, AC on, radio, pilot lights, among other things. The goal was to put the battery under the max amount of load possible.

We got the battery to as low as 12 volts in two seperate blocks . Block #6: 12.59v, and #8: 12.93v. What do these readings mean?

Since you have Techstream, the P0A80 code will have a snowflake icon. Click on that and see what sub codes are there;).

When you have that, it’ll help narrow the issue down(y).

What version of Techstream are you running?

The P0A80 code has subcodes associated. You would see the snowflake icon to the left of the code, which you click on and it brings you to the next level of detail.

Good luck and keep us posted (y).

Version 12.0. something. Definitely not the most modern one. Got a cracked version from Amazon.

Did you ever fix the issue? Looks to me you needed at least two modules replaced. The voltages you see are both modules in a block. So one or two maybe be bad in either of those blocks.
