On our 2011 with JBL, the radio developed a curious issue right after the warranty expired. On our commute, there is a specific spot where the radio loses reception and never recovers. The drop out is consistent literally within 50 feet every morning - it's interesting/funny/frustrating. Specifically, the reception doesn't recover and we have to power off/power on to regain reception. The issue isn't isolated to just that part of the valley, there are other areas where the signal just craps out and it's power off/on to restore reception.

None of our other vehicles have this issue, so it's localized to something with the car.

This weekend I installed an Ottonavi and, on this morning's commute, the reception crapped out as usual, so now able to rule out a HU issue. Compounding the issue now is that the power off/on sequence takes a bit longer with the Ottonvai so the PITA factor has increased a bit o_O

Anyone think of what I can troubleshoot next: JBL component, antenna, other?
