And the usual engine rattle on initial start up from a dead stop.

Don't know as it sometimes is speed related. Will check turns tomorrow but I normally notice it straight ahead. Sounds like some thing loose to me.

Did you ever find out what it was? We have been having the same issue, but almost opposite of what you describe...hearing a rattling noise (front left wheel) when slowing down to a stop after traveling at least 20-30mph. Just took it in and they are saying it is an axle bearing? Claimed that it's not dangerous or emergent, but they're going to "fix it anyway"...

I have the same thing on my 2016 with 26k miles. While slowing down there's a clicking/rattling sound coming from the left front wheel area.

    Missed this thread, no clue.

Wonder if @ETP has an update too. Didn't he just have a 2016 the other day. Now a 2019 AND a Highlander Hybrid? No moss growing on him.

Or am I muddled about that user name??

Does it go completely away if you are braking in neutral?

If so you likely have this axle problem: Clicking Sound on Regen Braking | PriusChat there is now a TSB out for it. Solution is to replace the left front axle shaft. Covered under powertrain warranty.
