RC charger for battery reconditioning?

    Someone in a Facebook page suggested using an RC battery pack charger to recondition my traction battery. But I can't find any info about doing that. Is that a thing?

    2010 Prius with 336000 miles

    You haven't done enough searching on this site. It's here.

    But it should be more properly referred to as "maintaining" because once the cells get old enough they can NOT be "reconditioned".

    And in my opinion, what little you might gain is not worth the time and trouble; especially if the "operator" isn't electricity savvy......because of the possibility of a BAD outcome if a mistake is made.
