Hey guys, I'm no newb but I do need help!
    This is my 7th Prius.
    2008 model base.

Brand new 12v battery that is confirmed to work on my other Prius.

The issue- there are no fault codes at all

When you try to start it the ready light just flashes a few times and goes away. Nothing else blinks, brake lights still work. Not sure where else to look!

Yeah! That's what's got me confused. Everything sounds proper and like it will start but the ready light just flashes. It'll still shift over into neutral also.
This is with the smart key inserted into the dash so that would eliminate dead battery issues.
