Rear ichiba spacer installed

    I know lots of people run spacers "I have used them myself not on the Prius", but the fact is that if the rear wheel bearings "on one side of the car" are 1 inch apart "not an unreasonable figure" the manufacturer will design the load to be vertical "when the car is run in a strait line" between those bearings. Offsetting the load 1 inch outward reverses the load on the inner bearing and doubles the load on the outer bearing.
