Hello, my 2007 Prius got hit on the driver-side rear quarter panel. Insurance totaled it but I would rather keep the car. My mechanic who did body work for the rocker panel previously says he thinks he can just fix the dent and clean up the paint for way less. Insurance estimated $5000 repair for quarter panel replacement. I like my Prius and want to keep driving it. It drives fine and is in otherwise good shape, 175,000 miles on it. How serious are these types of quarter panel damages and can they be fixed with PDR or something like that? Thank you
