    Hey guys,
Anyone have a clue why my rear view mirro doesn’t seem attached to the window. I can move the housing up and down exposing the wires underneath. Any ideas on a god other then double side taping it to the wind should? IMG_0001.JPG

That's just s wiring cover, you can extend the length to cover all the wires. No tape

Maybe your windshield glass was replaced at some point, and the repairman didn't re-attach?

JC had the answer already. That part doesn't 'attach' to the windshield. It just slides. You can see little felt-covered tabs on the upper end. Just slide it up until those tabs are tucked in at the forward edge of the maplight cover/headliner.

It will make a faint sort of zipper sound as you slide it.

I’ve slid it up and it sits there loose.

That's roughly what it does. Is yours sliding back down? Did it make the zippery sound as you slid it up?
