I've been having issues with a finicky rear, passenger window where it won't roll up or down from the master power switch. I can operate all other windows in the car without issue. The rear passenger window does work when someone is operating it from that seat though.

Is there a way to reset the master switch so that all windows operate properly? I'm often driving alone with my dogs and need to be able to operate the windows from the master switch when they're too hot or too cold.

    I have a 2005 base model Prius.

Sounds like it's easier said than done. Any ideas how to do this?

no, you would probably have to subscribe to the service manual on line, or maybe search for a thread here. you might try prying up the frame of the switch panel, but i'm not sure.

In case anyone finds this and has the same issue, here is a video I found:

I have the same issue and am attempting the repair / replacing of the "maser switch". This guy in the video seems to maybe do more work than needed. Wondering if I can just pop that switch up, disconnect, and reconnect without having to take the door panel off. I will be finding out soon enough!
