Rearview Camera - License Plate Type

I received in the mail the Coastal E Tech frame camera. ( http://www.coastaletech.com/ ) I have not finished the install but the frame and camera go over the plate with out a problem. The hatch lift actuator is accessible. The camera is adjustable so that you can remove it flip the frame and mount the camera below the plate. 2 sets of screws allows you to adjust the camera. I may get someone to help with the rest of the install and hook up. I am feeling a bit insecure about running the wires all that length. The hook up at the CAN View is easy. This appears to be a good choice for those that want to go the frame camera route.

 

Here is the install. It comes all set up by Dave just put it on and run the wires.

 

Well... I'm not using a license plate rear view camera but instead I installed This with much less complications.

I recently had a Coastal Tech rear view camera kit installed for me by Best Buy. It works great.
No Problems. Took them 1 1/2 hours to put in.
