Hi guys. Is there a way of finding out whether any recall work has been done on the prius's that I'm looking at? I've looked at the recall checker on the Toyota UK site but it just says whether it needs 'voluntary' work carried out or not and doesn't list exactly what needs doing.

Is there a list on here of all the recalls carried out for the GenII?

Also, if a recall was issued years ago can I still get the work done on a Prius that hasn't had any fixes.

    Cheers guys

You could try calling the dealer where the car is serviced or even any other Toyota dealer as I'm sure they will be able to look it up on their system and tell you exactly what recalls need doing if you give them the vehicle registration number.

All the recalls, with VIN ranges, are listed on the VOSA website:
    VOSA - Vehicle Recalls
If the car is at a dealer they will be able to tell you whether the car has had any required work done.
