RECEIVED MY NEW 2008 PRIUS - SPECTRA BLUE

    Last week we got our new 2008 Prius, Package 3, Spectra Blue....the color is fabulous!!! We love it :D It is going to be hard to keep clean, but the color is well worth it. We have been putting on the new mods and getting it ready for our vacation trip to Florida. There have been other Prius owners honking on the interstate (there's not that many Prius' in Indiana, but the number is growing). We have put 345 miles on the car already and have gotten 53.9 MPG. We are happy with that so far :) Looking forward to the next several years driving this great car. Thanks for all the help in Prius Chat.

    Attached is a picture...the interior is grey (only comes with grey). Can somebody tell me how to add a picture on my Blue Hoosier page? I have tried to save it to Avatar but it doesn't work. I also don't know how to only add a thumbnail picture instead of a full size.

    It looks wonderful! My Mag Grey comes in next week, and I can't wait!

    What other modifications have you done besides the Prius decals and splash guards?

    I think I have a new favorite color. Congrats!
    Funny thing, when I first looked at the top pic I thought they put a big sporty spoiler on the back of the '08 but then realized it was a trash can in the background.

    <whistle> Now that's sharp! It definitely rivals Magnetic Grey as the best colour in my books (don't tell Totoro! haha).


    You already added the decals? nice. The tint is good too. Is that 30%?

    That's just one fine color, and Prius decal on the sides already to boot. Very very nice.

    We got the decals at Prius Chat Accessories. All the mods we have put on are listed at the bottom on my signature.

    Didn't realize the trash can was there LOL :lol:

    Can anybody help me put one of these pictures under the "Blue Hoosier" name on my profile? I couldn't figure out how to do it.

    First you need to shrink the photo down to a 150-pixel-wide thumbnail, which I have done for you (right-click with your mouse to save image):

    Then, go into My Controls here at Priuschat and click on the "Edit Avatar Settings" under Personal Profile. Upload that thumbnail, and voila, you got your Avatar. B)

    That new ride is suh-weet. I wish they'd had that color available instead of the seaside pearl my '07 came in.

    You can use any image management application, such as Microsoft Picture Manager, to do it...and I must say that I think Seaside Pearl is closer to Colts blue :p
