I am looking to replace my tires. I want to optimize for handling, particularly on wet roads.

I am willing to sacrifice low rolling resistance and some miles per gallon.

    Any recommendations?

Defender comes to mind, as well as GY Assurance Comfortred.
    Both are very long life.

On my 06 I installed an upper front strut bar, a larger rear anti roll bar, a stiffer mid chassis brace and 17 " wheels, it handles excellently, if I put the 15" wheels on it handles OK
