The red triangle warning on my dash recently came on so I am taking it to the nearest dealer on Monday. I think all of this is covered under recalls/warranty. Am I right?

Using the Torque OBD Scanner app I see the following error codes:
    1. PO138 Powertrain O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
    2. P1121 - Powertrain (Electric Throttle Control Actuator)
    3. P0A93 - Powertrain (Invertor Water Pump Failure)
    4. P116 - Powertrain (Pending Fault - Engine Coolant Sensor Out of Range)
I can't post links since my post count is so low, but most of these errors can be found on engine-codes except #3 which is quickly found on google.

DTC P0A93 would be covered under the inverter coolant pump recall but you are on your own with regards to the other three DTC.

Ok, I found "Safety Recall C0U Remedy Notice - 2004 to certain 2009 Model Year Prius Vehicles Hybrid Electric Water Pump" on the Toyota site. Are the other items simple DIY repairs?

Overheating the inverter enough will (temporarily) prevent the DC-DC converter, which charges the 12V system, from running. If your 12V battery gets low (and it will do) then you can get all sorts or spurious codes. So get the HE coolant pump changed and just clear the other codes and see what happens.

Also, keep an eye on your 12V battery, it may need replacing soon.

Thanks, I was actually going to try that - dealing with the recall and then resetting/seeing what happens, but I did not know about the 12v battery issue.
