My prius just have Red Triangle, VSC, Engine light, "brake" light pop up (again).
In the past, I just reconnected the 12v battery.

Today, I want a further test so I just ignored the warning, restarting the car after 3 hours, VSC and "brake" light disappear but Red triangle & Engine light were still here.

Scanned 5 times, no (pending/confirm) code was shown in both "Car Scanner" and "Torque lite" Android app.
I checked the inverter twice and I heard pump working and liquid moving in ready mode.

I have no idea what goes wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks

When using Torque, you may need to add the appropriate PIDs for a gen2 toyota prius hybrid.

If that fails, try Dr Prius or Hybrid Assistant instead.

    thanks for the suggestions.
It turns out my old ODB2 scanner was a no-brand trash with single PCB.
So I follow Dr. Prius guide and bought a recommend one.

I got P0A80 hybird battery deterioration and P3000HV Battery Malfunction
The HV battery pack was replaced 1.5 yrs ago by last owner.

According to Dr.Prius app, 1-2 module(s) seems to be a little bit low.
Is there anything I can do without changing it? Thanks

yes, but nothing that will be a definite fix. there are tons of threads here on replacing modules, and rebalancing the pack.
the more care you take, the longer the process, the more reliability you will get.

but in the end, the pack is still full of old modules that can fail at any time.

Take a peek inside the case, and check for corrosion in the usual places (wire frame #2, ECU). You might revive it by using a "grid charger".

While you have it apart you can clean up the HV battery fan, and check the white connector for corrosion as well.
