    Just wanted to update: There was evidence of a leak in one of the cells of the battery pack. New reconditioned hybrid battery has been put in and problem has been resolved.

    assemblers who put in a cell that was bad enough to leak are not qc'ing properly

    Thanks for the update, but "new" and "reconditioned" are mutually exclusive. :D

    At least you're back on the road for a while.

    A leaking battery on a pack they just finished working on.
    Oh boy.
    Sounds like this company's customers are in for a wild ride.

    Thanks for the follow-up. Good to have data points on some of these used batteries.
