Has anyone tried to remove the scratches from the black plastic appliqué yet? Mine has quite a lot of scratches, I mean the dealer installed black plastic piece that covers the white center cup holders.

Will a degreaser and magic eraser work? Or any other suggestions?

Maybe one day, someone will come up with a WHITE plastic applique to cover it? :D

We don't have the applique over here in the UK but the sales guy recently told me that the 2017 cars now come with a glossy black console tray and they can order the the part if I wanted to change it. I've got used to the white now and I think gloss black will show scratches more, like the applique does.

Are both the original white item and the black cover gloss finish? Maybe just go back down to the white, pull that off (or mask), and spray it with mat finish plasti-dip in your choice of color?

What about level 2 pieces, are they mat black? Probably cost too much though.

The Trim Two console is matte black. I do not know how that would work if they have the Qi charger though,

That's the pointless Qi charger that very few phones support unless you add a back case to the phone

This is a Honda Civic shifter bezel I played with yesterday. It's black plastic, with silver paint, getting pretty burnished, so I sprayed it with mat black Plasti-Dip. Before and after:

Novus plastic polish, #2 if it's moderately scratched, #3 then #2 if #2 alone isn't aggressive enough. (In truly horrible cases, a few increasing-grit-number sandpapers, then #3, then #2.)

I generally just rub it around with my fingertips and wipe off with the heel of my hand, seems to work better than using anything else as an applicator, for whatever reason.

Any recommendations for removing scuffs on the white plastic for the cup holders and qi charger? I’ve tried a magic eraser with no luck.

Well, if it's plastic, with a gloss finish, the aforementioned Novus plastic polishes.

Anything with a matte or textured finish is a pain, because polishing will leave a glossy spot that doesn't match.
