    We are renting a car for Thanksgiving at the Pittsburg airport, so we called Enterrpise there- they have NEVER seen a Prius- :cry: :cry: :cry:
    let alone rent one.

    Any other rental car companies to try?

    Would love to show my folks our ride (now had 8,500 miles on it)...

    Cathy, I was going to suggest EVRental but I see that their Pittsburgh Airport site (among others) is "Temporarily closed". I guess you'll have to drive instead of fly. It will show your relatives how nice a car it is if you drove it that far, can still walk and are still speaking to each other. :)

    Thanks for trying, but we already have our plane tickets. It would take 2-3 days each way and that is pushing it - no vacation. Rats...

    Guess I will just have to take pictures.

    :( :( :(

    There was some word that Budget had Prii, but I've yet to confirm it.

    When I called Budget's 1-800 number regarding this, the operator sounded as if she thought I was nuts...

    No Prii at your local Enterprise, Inventor00??? Wow. One of the guys at my local Enterprise was familiar enough with them that he's considered their own little expert on them. But then again, you can't go anywhere these days without seeing at least 5 of them over here.

    There must be some PCer near Pittsburgh (or your final destination). Post in the main forum and see if there is anyone willing to do a little show and tell.

    I took two co-workers the long way to pick up take out lunch today. Both quickly convinced the HSD system is a good thing. One wouldn't buy a Prius anyway, but if they put it in a Tacoma, he would get that when the lease on his current one is up.

    Actually we have to drive quite a way - over to Alliance Ohio (about 1 hour and 15 minutes ) and it would have been SOOO Great in a PRIUS. You do get spoiled by them......grin.

    I may call Budget direct and see if they ever see any..
