    Hi Brains Trust.

Long time lurker. First time poster!

I have 3 batteries from a late model Corolla. The batteries have low mileage (60xxx kms and 90xxx kms, 48xxx kms).

Is it possible to take cells from all three batteries and combine them into two battery packs to be used across 2 batteries in a Camry Hybrid or any other car for that matter?

Given the small difference in mileage, are there any issues with combining these battery cells? Should they all be discharged and balance charged before use or is cell swapping sufficient?

Keen to get your thoughts as I have a few batteries at my disposal.

no expert, but if they are the same physical size and shape, and the same specs, and the same chemistry, i don't see why not. a battery is a battery.
balanced is always a better way to go, but if you can find similar voltages, that will work for a time.

i don't think so, but best to read through the battery threads first, and you tube videos.
