Replace hybrid battery?

    Just to be clear: it turned out the original poster didn't actually have a problem with his hybrid battery? After driving it a few miles, he turned it off, then turned it back on, and everything reset. So no, you shouldn't be concerned unless you're experiencing other symptoms.

    Once a battery is disconnected your car needs to be driven through what is referred to as a "Drive Cycle",
    This is the complete relearn procedure of the cars ECU, main computer. This is all part of the OBDII II standard.
    There are other things that are manufacturer specific.
