I figured my rear dome light was never working/
now I removed the whole thing to put in a new bulb & ended up with one big part where I don't know how to access the bulb (& I really don't want to just try & then by accident break some tabs) /
neone has an idea how to get to the bulb here?

It's been a while since replaced my dome light with a panel array, but I'm pretty sure your picture is of the backside of the housing. You didn't need to take that whole assembly out of the headliner, but the dome light lens should be able to be removed using some thin edged plastic pry tool, or a small bladed screwdriver.

In other words, the bulb is accessed from the other side. ;)

    nope/
checked it with a multimeter -> no electricity
I looked at the schematics & the rear dome light gets it electricity from the front one/
so the cable might be interrupted somewhere....

Maybe a bad dome light switch?

If im looking at the wiring diagram correctly, the passenger dome light is called "room light assembly"? I don't see it called anything else or i don't see anything else resemble dome lights.

If this is correct, it looks like it's getting its power source from the map light assembly. If the map light assembly is working properly, then there is an open in one of those 3 wires that's going to the "room light assembly" or a bad bulb. Since a bad bulb is ruled out, then I would try to trace the wires and use an amp meter to check wire #1 and see if there's any amperage going through it. If all is good, I would assume it's the assembly itself?

But first check the fuse for the map light assembly and see if all is good... I hope I didn't diagnose it wrong lol. Let me know if I did something wrong.
