Not by choice. Last Fri my White '16 with 53,000 miles was totaled.

I walked away, but trying to find a replacement I found it hard to find a used '16 or '17, so I decided it's time for a clean slate and see what's out there

    I test drove
Kia Niro Nice car but a bit firm ride. 50 mpg but a better replacement for our '08 standard Prius with 160k that my wife refuses to give up.

GMC Terrain some nice features, but felt a bit tinney and again it felt firm 25mpg

Rave 4 gasser too trucky for my taste 30mpg

Rave 4 Hybrid a lot of power still a bit trucky and just too much vehicle for our needs 40mpg

Honda CRV gasser the best ride of the bunch, smooth and a nicer suspension in between the v and Kia and our 1st choice if no v could be found 29 mpg

After 2 days of power shopping we got lucky and found a Dark Blue '17 with 30k on it 2 hrs away out of state just coming out of a lease.

After testing all the others the '17 v the best ride and handling (for me). I brought it home about 2 hrs ago.

There is no real new current replacement for a v which I feel is one of the last "station wagon" type vehicles.

Congrats! I guess the Venza is too new but that would alleviate the "too trucky" part of the RAV4.

That's Galactic Aqua Mica. It's a really nice colour - dark green/blue depending on lighting.

My cell phone is a 20yr. old flip phone that sees about 1 minute a month, unless we are on a road trip, so we don't need a lot of tec.. We use "Lady Garmen" for navigation if we need it. :)

I think @djasonw ’s “iPhone?” is just a foible of using some third-party app for accessing PriusChat on a phone, not meant as a question. But you’re not the first to be puzzled.
