replacing 12v battery myself

    What are you trying to say. I don't understand.

    I said "If you drive the car regularly, you have no need of a "deep cycle" battery.......because there likely will never BE a deep cycle to worry about. Spending extra money for a "deep cycle" battery makes no sense.

    OTOH, if you don't drive it regularly, the having a small automatic charger makes sense and you still don't need a deep cycle battery.
