I was hoping to replace the fog lights that are currently in our '08 touring with these well-reviewed driving lights I found on Amazon.

Has anyone done a similar swap? I was hoping that I could simply use the existing wiring, but I am unsure how much of a difference there is in how much current they draw and I don't want to overload a wire (is that a thing?) or blow through fuses.

Any insight would be very much appreciated!

I swapped my OEM reflector foglights for some projectors. Link is in my signature below.

If you're concerned about blowing fuses and melting wiring, use the wiring harness and relay in the kit to connect to an appropriate power source.
