Just saw this video on youtoube (
) showing how to jump the OBDII port to reprogram the immobilizer on a Camry Hybrid, after a HV ECU replacement, to get the "Ready" light. Does anyone know if this is required on a Prius and if so, will this same method work? Any other thoughts? Thanks.

If it become necessary to replace the ECU, under warranty or not, the stealer ship shoud be responsible to update all pertinent applications. I wouldn't replace an ECU with a recycled one !!! to risky to get a DUD
