REVIEW: Hybrid Effects Grille Block

    I always leave the lower blocked in city traffic. Over 70F on the highway, if the trip was only an hour or two, yes. At 90F on the highway, for a short 20 minute trip it's blocked, longer I'd probably open one or two slots. But I have a ScanGage so I monitor temps to make sure I'm going to be in range.

    Today I finally finished my lower grill block. I got a 3" hole saw and cut 10 holes. The caps for the holes have tabs on them to make sure the caps dont come out. Well that makes them hard to pull out without tools. The tabs are 180 degrees from each other. So what I did was sand out the top and bottom of the holes so the caps can just fall in place. Then I give them a 90 degree turn and that makes them secure. To remove them I just give them another 90 degree turn and they fall right out.

    Here you can see the fog lights. The holes are not centered on the lights but its good enough if I ever want to leave these out to use the fogs.

    Thanks for sharing the photos. It would be even nicer if the plugs are the same red color as opposed to black. :)
