Right front door lock not working anymore??? Help....

    The right front door lock won't unlock or lock any more on our 2010 Prius. It started acting up intermittently a few weeks ago and now won't work with the key fob or the interior unlock function button. Is this just a bad door lock actuator that needs to be replaced? If so, is this a simple process? Thanks for any help.

    sounds like it. search here for write ups and pics. as i recall, replacing it isnt too bad, but expensive.

    the trick is learning how to fix it for cheap.
