Ya, and Jimbo, that just isn't true about most charging stations not working with the PiP. I think it's the opposite actually.

Makes me feel good I never said that. What I WAS showing, was how to get the fastest charge from the motel room itself.

So all these Nissan and Chevy dealerships that are listed on PlugShare...are those available for anyone at anytime?

:)Congratulations again on your PIP purchase. It's only natural you want to take advantage of charging. Based on a long trip, uncertainty of charger locations, etc. might be best to skip charging unless it's absolutely convenient to do so. Once you get home, you'll have years of charging and great fuel mileage. Remember, the quickest route between two points (1200 miles apart) is a straight, or as straight as possible, line. Have a safe trip.

I do recall writing exactly that, too bad you did not read it, as it tells "how to get the fastest charge from the motel room itself," just as I said.
Feel free to quote any part that says that "most charging stations [are] not working with the PiP", as you claimed. Perhaps in a Private Message as your vendetta has very little to do with his road trip.

On a round-trip from Virginia to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, then Chicago, Kansas City, and back to Virginia last June, I consistently found that the best and always available places to charge were the convenience-store gas stations in front of a strip mall. These gas station convenience stores always have a 110V plug or two on their front wall below the front window, just feet from the pull-in parking.

I always asked, I was always given permission, I would go off to food-shop / eat / stretch my legs / find ice cream, and when I got back, most of the time, I had a friendly li'l group waiting to ask me very good, positive questions about how the plug-in thing works. The groups ranged from mechanics of the gas station, to delivery van drivers, to farm kids, to you name it.

I actually never ever located a convenient Level 2 EVSE the whole trip.

    Hope this is helpful.

Not a vendetta, just trying to clear up what you said...

    I said this...
So the plugs at most charge points don't work with the PiP?

    And you said....
    No

I don't understand any other way to take that good sir.

Thankfully, every single person who cares about the facts of this, (which is most likely just me) knows that I wrote an entire sentence, which you persist in not reading, not just a single word.
