    Rosner Auto -> No Good

    Well I finally decided I'd go for the #4......unfortunately, I had a VERY bad experience at Rosner Auto in Fredericksburg VA.

    I had called Dennis C. who has posted here before. He said what he had posted here was sold, but he had two other #4s available. I mentioned I could drive down from MD as long as he could hold one for me.....

    Well I get there and he tells me that they are not physically there, but will be my mid-month.....

    Needless to say I am exhausted and fairly ticked off after having a 6 hour roundtrip and coming home empty handed.....

    If anyone else has some leads in the MD/VA/DC/PA area, please let me know!

    Thanks!

    hmmm. so you were under the impression that a dealership has cars available for sale sitting on their lot??

    Dave, that's exactly what my impression would have been if I had made this phone call. We are all aware that Prius typically don't spend much time at the dealerships before they are purchased. However, is it beyond the realm of possibility that a rural dealership could have a car and no one on their waiting list? Do you really think that sarcasm is necessary or even supportive? I guess that you have forgotten how difficult the waiting game can be.

    ok, you are right. however, i would have grilled him extensively to the point of getting the VIN before i would have driven that far.

    of course, if even those measures would have provided no help then there is nothing that could have been done.

    Well, even though you were sarcastic about finding one in stock, I DID find one around 6pm last evening from a dealership about 20 minutes away.

    So I am now a proud owner of a Black #4!

    Anyway, perseverance in calling around (especially at the end of the month) pays off!
