Actually I take it back, all those settings are available via the MFD. Looks like there's really no downside to dumping the entune system

So where exactly did you find a spot to run a wire through the fire wall? I have to run a wire to the battery this weekend for a trailer light harness.

Found a solution but it required a bit of work. Removed the wiper cowl to gain access to the giant grommet in the firewall. Snaked a wire through the grommet and reinstalled everything. Took about 45 minutes.

Can we assume the backup camera works?

Details on where the giant grommet is on the firewall and how to identify it? Did you have to poke a new hole in the grommet? Can u at least see it without removing the wiper cowl? Thank you.

@G23 It'd be best to ask this on The GEN 3 FORUM. There is very little similarity with GEN 4, as it's on an entirely new chassis.

Are you asking for a Gen 3 or a Gen 4? This is in the Gen 4 section. If you're asking for your 2010, you may start a new thread in the Gen 3 section :)

Woops. I need to update my profile. I have a 2017 prius prime now. I assumed the location of the grommet would be the same as the gen 4 priuses. Here is a pic of what I think may be the grommet.

It might be best to ask on the PRIME FORUM - they're more likely to respond.

How is the performance in broad daylight. I have a gen 3 but due to the angle of the panel, cant see a thing in direct sun glare 20200919_111732.jpeg
