I have big problem with the update. I gave my car to dealer and they already 4 days can't make the update, they told me they have some problem with update. I am waiting when they finish it. Here in NYC big problem with dealers. They all has very low rating. My rate for them will very low too. Will to try to avoid dealers.

 

You might get the car back and then call around until you find a dealer who can do it. Some of them probably don't know how to do it yet.

 

I have got my car after update of the software. My car is better now, fixed few problems. Very good update, THANK YOU TOYOTA for doesn't forget old cars. My advise for everybody update the software !!!

 

Are you saying the car runs better because of the software update?

 

YES. the update fixed few problems which I had before the update .

 

Thanks sergus. Can you please expand on what was "fixed" with the update; gas mileage before and after the update? Thanks in advance.

 

Just got the update done today on my 2011 Prius.

The radio was all pretty glitchy on the ride home. Disappointed. I'm assuming it was because of the attempt at an update. (I also had an oil change and spark plugs changed while I was there). A new dealer I had never visited before.
