I've been prevented from sending you a PM, says your settings disallow it.

I can see lots of repeated entries in the log about "no WUs available for this configuration" but I don't know if that means my configuration is wrong, or there simply aren't any available.

I didn't actually configure anything, just left it in anonymous mode and hit the go button.

Commissioner Bryant Culpepper explained the junk remedy he learned from the One America News Network claiming the coronavirus cannot live at temperatures greater than 136 degrees.

“I said how would you get the temperature up to 136 degrees? The answer was you use a blow dryer. You hold a blow dryer up to your face and you inhale through your nose and it kills all the viruses in your nose,” Bryant said during a March 20 meeting of the Okeechobee County Commissioners, according to Lake Okeechobee News.

    Perhaps this would be faster:

    who ever knew !!!
lead solder is a viral cure.
maybe if we just ingest it ... the result would be even quicker !!

    on a somewhat ironic note - despite so called, "experts" demanding months or years more study before administration - there seems to be a shortage of (you guessed it) a certain malaria drug;

Chloroquine in short supply as hospitals buy in bulk

Potential coronavirus treatment touted by Trump already in shortage, pharmacists say - Reuters

It's not you. Their servers are hammered right now from the overwhelming increase in people joining to help. You may need a restart or just wait. I've been waiting a day for more work.

    See the FAH thread here.

despite Oz & his money making - boarder line infomercial quackery .... for an 80yr old? suffering - & getting worse? It's doubtful - based on the prior decades of testing - that the risk will outweigh the cure.
even gmail is slow to log. We pay a boatload for Uber fast bandwidth & Ookla shows we are still getting it via our eeuge pipe - so yeah it seems to be the "other guy"
Pray we don't loose PriusChat !!

Absolutely! I'm very glad that Cox is holding up on the Internet side so far.

In the case of Folding at Home, they were adding about 16,000 new users per hour for a while and now all of them are trying to connect to the servers to get work units. It's like a "friendly" denial of service attack. GMAIL is blowing up on the new users that try to get a unique ID key. FoH is sending out thousands of emails to all these new users and GMAIL see it as a SPAM attack and locks them down so the end users don't get the key they asked for. It works with out the key but the new users don't know that.

As data continues to roll in, it must be acknowledged that @tochatihu's forecasts are certainly trending in the correct direction he predicted with his mortality modeling re: South Korea.

A hope in my corner remains that we can some day open up testing to the "under the radar" asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic cases that are sadly still not being captured in the data (not just SK which continues to lead, but everywhere).

Hoping we can get to this by any means possible, including serum antibody testing which would capture these up to now unrecorded (and increasingly historical) infections. This will better enable us to get a proper idea of the scope of what we are dealing with and how to better confront the foe on medical and economic terms.

I came up with something a bit random today, just passing it on.

Is your mobile phone waterproof? If yes, consider putting it in the sink while you wash your hands. That way the soapy water hits it too, saves a little time too.

Mine's been in a waterproof case ever since... well never mind, but it's been getting washed a lot lately and doing fine.

Washington State's Governor Inslee just gave a "stay home" order, go out for only essential needs.

But he also listed going outside for walks and bike rides counts as essential for physical and mental health. So we can continue with our daily walks or rides.

No gatherings allowed, maintain 6 feet of separation.

Goes into effect in 48 hours, lasting at least 2 weeks.

I'm taking my V-C, in the form of a couple multi-vitamins, maybe 3 or 4 per day. Yeah, yeah. I know. I'm pissing most of it away.

I've drunk two 46 ounce cans of tomatoe juice in the last 6 days, which has some Vitamin C.

Source: AZ man dead after taking fish tank cleaner to prevent coronavirus infection | FOX 10 Phoenix

PHOENIX - Medical experts with Banner Health are warning the public against using inappropriate medication and household products to prevent or treat coronavirus.

The warning by Banner Health comes after after an Arizona man in his 60s died from taking a substance used to clean fish tanks at aquariums in order to prevent contracting COVID-19.

In a statement released on Monday, experts emphasized that chloroquine, which is a medication used for malaria, should not be taken to treat or prevent COVID-19.

Banner Health officials say the man who died, along with his wife, both took chloroquine phosphate. The man's wife, who was also in her 60s, is currently under critical care.

Officials say both were taken to a Banner Health hospital for immediate treatment, after they experienced immediate effects within 30 minutes of taking the substance.
