Not too long ago I bought a SGII.
I notice when I'm gliding from 50 down to 46 the reading is 9999mpg, but as soon as I hit 46 and the ICE turns off and goes electric the reading goes down to the 2000-1000 range for the iMPG reading.
Foot off the gas while ICE is on with RPM in the 1000-900 range reads 9999 iMPG.
All electric never reads 9999 always 2000s and below

It's not a big deal but I'm just curious why all electric won't display 9999 iMPG

If you pull up GPH, I think you will find it stuck at 0.02 gallons per hour, not the desired 0.00 gph. I've written it off as just a bogus reading, a bug somewhere between the car and the ScanGauge.

When the ICE is actually burning fuel, I've never seen it at less than 0.20 gph.

Yeah I noticed that as well. Just wondering why i see 9999 only when the ICE is running when I let off the gas. You would think it would give you the same reading when the car goes all electric.
Does your SG do the same thing when you are in EV?

Yes, it is a known bug with the SGII on GenIIIs. On the GenII it works correctly. When in doubt you can bring up the Loop display and it will read "open" when you are gliding (or warp steakth) and zero fuel is being used. I just watch my RPM. If RPM = 0, 960, or 992 then no fuel is being used. When above 42mph RPM will usually stick at 992 during warp stealth. Below 42mph RPM will read 0 during glides or EV.
