ScanGauge mounting location ideas without drilling or taking apart the dash

We recently leased a 2013 Prius Persona. Since this is a leased vehicle I can't drill any holes in the dash to mount the SGII cable as I saw others have done. I also don't want to take apart the dash and run the cable behind because I want to be able to easily swap the SGII between the Prius and our Fusion Hybrid. If anyone has ideas of where to mount for easy visibility and cord routing I'll appreciate it. I'm thinking about putting it either behind the steering wheel on the steering column or up on the dash near the MFD.
